Recipe // Chili Crisp in Oil

This recipe is for our Chili Crisp in Oil, a versatile condiment that adds a spicy and savory kick to a variety of dishes. This particular recipe yields approximately 8 fluid ounces and is perfect for those who enjoy a bit of heat with their meals.

Ingredients:

→ 1/2 cup canola oil

→ 2 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes

→ 1 tbsp dried minced onion

→ 2 tsp dried minced garlic

→ 1/2 tsp sesame seeds

→ 1/4 tsp ground ginger

→ 1/2 tsp cane sugar

→ 2 tsp sesame seed oil

→ 1/2 tsp liquid aminos

→ 1/4 tsp smoked paprika

→ 2 tsp tamari sauce

Directions:

→ Heat canola oil over medium heat until it reaches 300°F.

→ Add chili flakes, dried onion, dried garlic, and sesame seeds into the oil.

→ Stir continuously until sesame seeds turn light golden brown (about 3-5 minutes).

→ Turn off the heat and add salt, sugar, sesame seed oil, and liquid aminos. Stir to incorporate.

→ Once cool, stir and transfer into a jar. Enjoy on eggs, avocado toast or anything that needs a little kick!
