We’re here because the grocery industry has made it impossible to avoid plastic packaging and waste, and we want to change that.
re_ makes it easier and more affordable to shop sustainably. To do better than recycling. To say no to plastic altogether.
We carry over 500 refillable bulk goods and strive to source only the highest quality organic, non-GMO and clean products, all plastic-free. We also stock reusables and zero-waste accessories.
We encourage you to bring your own clean / dry / empty containers from home. We also have 100% post-consumer recycled paper bags or reusable glass jars/bottles for purchase.
It feels more important than ever to reconnect with each other, with our food and with our planet. Our glass is always half-full. And refillable. We hope to see you soon!

In-Store
→ Can I bring my own container from home for refill (BYOC)?
Yes! Bring any clean, dry, and empty container from home to refill your favorite zero-waste goods. We also offer 100% post-consumer recycled paper bags, reusable glass jars, and cloth produce bags available for purchase in-store.
→ How do I shop in-store at re_ grocery?
Shopping package-free is easy!
- Weigh your containers at the tare station up front.
- Choose your refillable items and write down the product code.
- Fill as much or as little as you need—no minimums!
- Head to checkout.

→ Is there a bigger selection available in-store?
Yes! Our physical locations offer a wider range of refillable and low-waste products, including refrigerated foods and liquids that aren’t available online. Visit us in-store to explore our full collection. Pro tip: ask our staff about the secret menu.

Yes! We proudly accept EBT, SNAP, and CalFresh benefits in-store to help make sustainable shopping more accessible.

→ Can I order online for local pickup?
Yes! You can order online for in-store pickup at re_ grocery. Orders are typically ready within 1–3 hours. You’ll receive an email notification when your plastic-free order is packed and ready.
→ Do you offer nationwide shipping?
Yes! We ship plastic-free orders across the U.S. via UPS Ground. Orders typically get sent within one business day. Enjoy free shipping on orders over $150!
→ How are online orders packed for delivery?
We pack all deliveries with sustainability in mind:
- Dry goods are sealed in backyard-compostable, plant-based cellulose packaging
- Liquids are packed in reusable glass jars and bottles
- Orders ship in boxes made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials
Reminder: Remove stickers for proper composting and recycling in your local area.
→ Can I leave special instructions for my order?
Yes! You can leave order notes at regrocery.co/cart before checking out. Want your coffee ground (be sure to specify your brew method), prefer paper bags instead of compostable cellulose, or like handwritten product names instead of using printed stickers? We’re happy to help customize your zero-waste, plastic-free order.

Sustainability
→ Can I recycle plastic bags and plastic film with you?
Yes! We’ve partnered with Plastic Beach, a Southern California nonprofit, to collect clean, dry, and stretchy plastic film and bags. These materials are repurposed by Trex into eco-friendly decking and furniture.
Note: No hard plastics, and please remove all stickers before dropping off.
→ Do you collect used wine corks?
Yes! We partner with ReCORK™ to recycle natural cork into carbon-negative materials for shoes and other sustainable products. Only natural corks are accepted—no plastic or synthetic versions, please.
→ Do you accept empty CO2 canisters?
Yes! re_ grocery gladly accepts empty CO2 canisters from brands like Aarke, SodaStream, Simpli and similar systems. Just bring in your empties, and we'll take care of returning them — keeping them out of landfills and in circulation. Plus, when you bring in an empty canister, you’ll receive a discount toward your next full one. It's an easy, sustainable way to keep the bubbles flowing while reducing waste.

Wholesale
→ Can I place a special order at wholesale quantities?
Yes! We apply a 10% discount on full case sizes—typically in quantities of 10, 25, or 50 pounds. It’s an easy way to save while stocking up sustainably. Email us to inquire → wholesale@regrocery.co
