Ingredients

1 medium sweet potato
1 ½ cups rolled oats (or oat flour)
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
2 tablespoons peanut butter (unsweetened and unsalted)

Directions

1. Roast or steam the sweet potato until it’s soft and fully cooked. Let it cool, then peel and mash it into a smooth consistency.
2. Add the rolled oats to a blender or food processor and pulse until they form a coarse flour.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potato, oat flour, cinnamon (if using), and peanut butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.
4. Roll the dough into small, bite-sized shapes, or use a cookie cutter for fun designs.
5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until firm and slightly golden.
6. Let the treats cool completely before serving them to your pup!

Note

These treats are intended as an occasional snack for dogs and should not replace a balanced diet. Always consult your veterinarian before introducing new foods, especially if your dog has allergies or dietary restrictions. Use unsalted, unsweetened peanut butter free of xylitol or other artificial sweeteners, as these can be harmful to dogs.
